Dental Care
Routine dental care is essential to your horse's health as it is the number one life limiting factor. We recommend periodic examinations and offer services ranging from routine floats to corrective orthodontics.
Emergency Care
Emergency services are available for your horse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please call (715) 246-2619.
In the event of an emergency, a veterinarian can be immediately dispatched. Colic, injuries, and reproductive problems can be life threatening in the horse. Emergency care is offered 24 hours a day and a veterinarian can usually be on the farm within minutes. In addition, we can assist in referal to an emergency or surgical center if necessary.
Immunization and Wellness Care
Preventative medicine is the basis for good health, athletic performance, and longevity. Our Equine Wellness programs are designed specifically for your horse based on its lifestyle and may include: a comprehensive physical and dental exam; a specific vaccination program: internal parasite testing and a recommended deworming proticol; nutritional counselling; and blood screening tests for diseases such as equine infectious anemia (Coggin's test). The increased demands we ask from our performance horses and emerging diseases such as West Nile Virus makes a custom tailored Equine Wellness program a must to preventing future illness.
Internal Medicine
We cover many areas of internal medicine, including: Ophthalmology; Neonatology: Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others. We have portable X-Ray equipment that facilitates easy diagnostics and treatment for your horse on the farm.
Nutritional Counseling
A horses diet changes throughout their life and is dependent on lifestage, athletic performance and season. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your horse.
